Photography Workshop with Carlan Tapp and Santa Fe Photography
When: From February 15th to the 22nd
Carlan Tapp first traveled to Nicaragua in 2009 to photograph for Empowerment International. He discovered proud and welcoming families and rich, magnificent landscape–an authentic cultural experience untouched by tourism. Granada’s beautiful lake shoreline, archipelago of 365 small islands, vibrant street life and markets, and surrounding countryside (home to more species of birds and trees than the entire European continent) are all photographic subjects to explore and discover during this extraordinary adventure.
The timing for this workshop is impeccable as the international poetry festival will be in town bringing together much more culture then just poetry. Including colorful parades and traditional dancing and many concerts.
In partnership with Santa Fe Photography Workshop, he will be bringing his students to Empowerment International where they will discover the beauty of Granada and the surrounding area. A significant portion of the proceeds will return to Empowerment International.
